Your Words Become Your Reality
You are the person you are today because of what you are saying to yourself.
Words are like seeds.
Words are like seeds that we pronounce, when you say something you give life to it. As long as you keep saying it, eventually that will become your reality whether you realize it or not, you prophesy about your future.
When we say good things like:
– I am blessed
– I am strong
– I am healthy
– My dreams will come true
– I’m out of debt
– My children will be fine
– I will not lack anything, in Jesus Name
Not only are you positive but also you prophecy victory, you prophesy what you want to achieve, your life will go in the right direction.
But many people prophesy just the opposite.
– I am sick
– I will never have success in life
– I’m not getting that job
– My colleague’s work against me, they are jealous
– I will never find the right husband or wife
– My kids are bad
– My husband is bad
– I can’t stop my addiction
When you say things like this, you prophesy destruction over your life. You are calling these bad things over yourself.
Which seeds do you plant?
Proverbs 18:21 says:
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. So in other words, what fruit do you want to eat???? You plant seeds when you talk and at some point you start eating that fruit. You are going to reap what you plant. Don’t expect that if you talk negatively you will have a positive life. If bad words come out of your mouth, you will have a bad life. I have seen it in the lives of many, even Christians.
Start planting positive seeds.
You can say, “pastor, I will never get better, it runs in the family. I will never get healed”. No, say, “God will heal me. This sickness has to go, in Jesus name. Sow a positive seed and you will eventually bear fruit.
The Bible says let blessing come out of your mouth.
With our tongue we can bless our life or we can pour out dead over our life. People do not realize that they are cursing their future with their mouth and also over others, their children or their loved ones. If you say bad things about your husband, wife, children or the people around you. Then, don’t be surprised if their lives don’t bear good fruit. Stop cursing the future of your husband or wife, or children, or your mother, father, sister, brother, etc.. Stop talking negative things about other people’s lives. Because you speak it out over their lives. The Bible says, let blessing come out of your mouth. I’ve often heard people say things even bad things about our own kids, they are disobedient, they are naughty, they are this and that, I immediately break this kind of talk away from their lives, in Jesus name. One time we had to say “sorry” to our son Rohan, he was advised to get in high school, but the lowest level “practical education”. We thought what should become of him. So we were behind his back to study more hard. But eventually when we had to find him a high school, we went to see some high schools. To our amazement we saw so many opportunities for his life. His future looks really bright. We gave Rohan even more encouragement that he has a bright future ahead and we said sorry to him because of what we said, than his future was not looking good.
So what do you say about the lives of your children?
We also often say about others; that person won’t change anyway, because she just gossips, I told you, look at her behaviour. Why is she acting so stingy, she is not greeting me, she’s proud; she’s this or that. Talk positively about that person, don’t curse the person, but say blessing over them. Because when you kick the ball to the other side, it will come back to you one day, be careful what comes out of your mouth. If you point 1 finger to another person, 3 fingers points back to you. Many times the devil doesn’t have to do much because we ourselves are calling bad thing over us and we blame satan for what is happening in our lives, but it’s us. Pay close attention to what comes out of your mouth, bless your life or curse your life.
Inviting things.
We are also often afraid if there is a disease in the family, that we will get it, for example, breast cancer or any kind of cancer, or other diseases that are common in the family, or an alcohol addiction or other addictions. We are afraid of getting it and we talk to others about it and say, “What if I get it?” Don’t send out invitations to that illness, addiction, your kids, or whatever. Declare that no illness will affect you. You will live all your days in good health and you will be strong, prophesy good words over yourself. Express God’s favour on your life, on the lives of your children, grandchildren, your husband, your wife, your loved ones, etc. Use your words to change your situation.
Matthew 6:25 says:
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
Negative thoughts will always come to your mind, but the key is not to transfer it into words. Of course you worry about things, a lot of things go through your mind at times, many thoughts will go through our head, about our future, about our marriage, about our children, about our financial situation, about our loved ones, etc. We can’t stop those thoughts but never speak them out when it’s negative. Don’t give life to these negative things by speaking them out.
Thoughts pollute the heart.
Also, don’t forget that negative thoughts pollute our hearts and cause us to act in a certain way. If negative thoughts come to mind, give it right away to the Lord or say “I break these thoughts, in Jesus name”.
Especially in difficult times you have to be alert and pay attention, because then you are sensitive to say things that go through your head. I know with our children that sometimes I got so angry that I said certain things in my anger that I regretted afterwards. And I also had to learn that. Don’t speak negative things in your weakness.
I know people who often only talk about their problems. If I ask them “how are you, ooh I’m oke, you know I have this and that”. I have a girlfriend and when I talk to her sometimes she always talks about her problems, I’m not doing well, I don’t have money, I am alone, this and that happened to me. She gives her problems more and more life. It’s obvious that you get discouraged because that is what you say about your life. Don’t talk too much about your problems but talk about the Lord’s promise for your life.
Nothing is too difficult for our God. He created the world, is there anything too small for Him???? We also sometimes say: God does not hear me; I am still in the same situation. But sometimes God also closes doors in your life so that He can open others or wants you to go out and open the right door. God is always there for you.
Your destiny.
We read so many stories in the Bible of men and women who could have thought that they could not do it, that they are a failure. Even Jesus went through many trails. Thoughts that would keep them from their destiny.
Nativity allows you to talk yourself out of your destiny. Negative thoughts can keep you away from Gods plan for you’re live. Stay focus on God and what God wants for you.
Change your mind.
You can pray in faith for the things in your life, but after your prayer do you talk negatively and say, well that is not going to work for me, God will not answer my prayers anyway, my children will not get on the right path, my family won’t give their lives anyway, etc…
By this nativity you have just destroyed your faith in prayer. Negative thoughts bring negative results. Speak your victory, faith, healing, that will make God do the impossible for you.
As you go through challenges, prophesy your future. Do not look at the size of your problems, don’t be afraid of your problem but address your problem, by saying “With God nothing is impossible, He will take care of me and my situation”.
Prophesy what you believe in. Rise in faith and destroy your problem. Don’t forget, your words become your reality.
Does your tongue lead you in the right direction for you, for your children, for your loved ones, for the people around you or does it lead to destruction. The choice is yours.
What do you choose??????
