Open our eyes Lord so we can see, so we can hear and we can know your heart. That’s what we need to do today.

My name is Kathy and I am so glad you are here with us. This video is suppose to help you, encourage you and encourage me.
There are four things I want to share with you today.

Number one. #1. Let’s prepare our hearts.
Let’s prepare our heart and open it up. Let God come in. Let him be our friend. Let him encourage us. Open our hearts. That’s up to us.

Number two #2. We need to prioritize our life.
Did you know that in Psalms 119:18 it says “Open my eyes Lord so I can see the wonderful things that is in your law”. That’s right! We have to open our heart. We have to prioritize our life. Let God be first! Even above those we love.

Number three. #3 We have to participate with him.
Yes, we have a will and it’s up to us, if we will allow God to speak to us. Allow God to help us to understand his word and then, we have to obey. That’s participating! It is like when a parent tells a child to do something. That child has to participate and complete the task.

Number four. #4 We also need to practice what we learn, on a regular basis everyday; talking to him, taking time, resting, allowing his peace to come into our lives. Allowing his love and guidance, to abound in our life.
Hebrew 10:22 says “Let us draw nigh to God, draw near to God with a sincere heart.”

We have to have an open, sincere heart. Then,
James 4:8 says,”Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.”
That is participation. We walk toward him and he comes to us.
He wants our lives to be abounding in his love. Today, let us purpose to:
Open our hearts and ….. prepare our hearts.
Prioritize our lives…….. participate with God.
And 4, …….Let us practice……..so that His presence can come in!

Let us pray!
Father, thank you, that you love us so much. You want to be a real friend to us. Help us today to open our hearts and to learn how to practice so that your presence can come in and be near to us. Thank you for being with us in 2020. Help us now, as we work and walk forward in 2021. In Jesus name. Amen
