He is for October!

Hello, my name is Marian Lataster, My husband is Bishop John Lataster. We live in the Netherlands in Europe.
John, and I pastor a church called TC House of Faith in a Roman Catholic area in the city of Tilburg.
John and I have two married children, my oldest Sandra and youngest Paul. We also have five grandchildren, two boys Jeremiah and Ilijah and three girls, Holy, Lux and Hope. They all serve God in the ministry.

When I look outside, the sun is shining and today is not hot but warm and just right. The leaves of the trees have changed a little. The colors are orange and some are greenish.
I can tell and feel that we have stepped into a different season of the year, called Autumn.
Autumn in October brings lower temperatures with lots of winds, rain, dark clouds, and sometimes sunshine. Time to put your raincoat on.
Summer is gone!! And Autumn has its say in this season!! But remember is God is also for October!

I thank God for the scripture He gave me to read. Through every situation and tough times God give promises.

In Psalms 23:6a it says: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;”
When I think of the goodness of God, my heart is full with joy and I can only praise Him.

I remember of an incident that happened in my life.
One late evening on a Friday, I was wondering what we should eat tomorrow. No rise dishes something else, I said: “Lord I long to eat potatoes.”
The next day, very early in the morning the doorbell rang.
Who could that be, I thought.
I opened the door and a church brother greeted me with a friendly smile and said: “This morning I was busy digging some potatoes in my yard and I was thinking about you Pastor, here is a full garbage bag with potatoes!!” Wow, potatoes?? Yes, for you!! I looked at him and I said: “thank you.” Then he left.
I looked at the bag and I couldn’t believe for a minute what had happened.
The brother obeyed God! And the Lord had answered my prayer so quickly.
Isn’t He wonderful? The Lord came to surprise me and I saw that His goodness and mercy has followed my life.
God is a good God!! He is a loving Father, a best Friend and a great Holy Spirit.

As you know, October is a season that brings many weather changes. The days are Wet, Windy and mostly have greyish and Dark clouds. It is not as pretty as the season in Spring.
And maybe your lives have dark clouds and rain of tears, because of the changes the in situations you have that are happening now and the difficult moments.

Let me encourage you. Do not be dismayed and not be discourage, believe in the love of God. And do not let trouble sway you like reeds by the water’s edge. You are a child, a daughter of the King! Look up and pick up yourself and stand firm and lift up your head and see the Lord. Our God is still in control and He has everything under control. Expect and believe that His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives. Declare in your life that God will help you and will surprise you with blessings!!

In the book Isaiah 43: 18,19 it says:
”18. Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
19. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

Wow, this is a great message!!
The Word says:
Do not look back but look out for the new things God has prepared for us. We should open our eyes to see for the new that is coming in our lives.
Believe it and Expect it!!

Let us declare and decree this month into a new and glorious season from the Lord!

God is in for October!!
