13 Feb Embracing the Impossible With Love
Hello to all, All our greetings to all of you from my husband Philippe and myself. He has left for the Carribeans so I will share some words with you in this February period when LOVE is celebrated. Embrassing the impossible with LOVE seems to be easy and so natural for christians. However, when we look at it closely, we may be surprised by what it involves. First, our testimony as united couples, as united families is not as ordinary as it was a few years ago . We have the same struggles as any other couple or family, but we face them with God’s presence, help and advice. So may that example of unity and team-work in our couples not be somthing IMPOSSIBLE for our friends, colleagues or neighbours, yet become a POSSIBLE in Christ for them too. And we the increasing of christians divorcing, it is even more urgent to work with LOVE on our family cells. We are perfect and never will be, but we are saint in the Father’s eyes. Then, in our everyday life, we should never forget that our everyday deeds and actions for others are as important as if we did them for Jesus. Matthew 25:35-37(ESV) «For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.» What we do with respect and LOVE towards our friends, (which is quite easy), or for neighbours or colleagues is for JESUS himself. May we also be the mouths of those you cannot speak, who have no strength, no space to be able to speak out their worries, their pain, their struggles, their addiction or sickness. May we be the ones who listen, who understand. We may not have any solution, ans that’s ok, but we certainly have people we know or someone who knows someone who can help (a doctor, a psychologist, a social worker, well an expert…). 1 John 3 : 18 «Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.» We are not perfect and never will be, but we are saint in the Father’s eyes. So let us walk in LOVE, with His saint and everlasting LOVE as PERFECT example. Colossians 3:23-24 «Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.» We bless you and LOVE you in Jesus’ name. May the IMPOSSIBLE become POSSIBLE in Him.
