Christmas Greetings 2025

Kathy…..”Welcome to the women’s web page for Western Europe Churches of God. I am Dr Kathy Watson Swift, and this is Bishop Chris Swift, my husband. We want to welcome you and wish you a Merry Christmas!”
.Chris…”Yes.”
Kathy….”And today, we want to, once again, talk to you about Embracing the Impossible during the holiday season. We want to look at Luke 1: 26-37
You can read there for yourself but I want to talk specifically about verses 34 and 37.
Luke 1: …..Now this young girl was in her devotional, and something happened. Well, the angel came and began talking to her about her cousin Elizabeth, and also about herself, and said, you know you’re going to bear a baby in your womb. “In verse 34 she says, Wait a minute.”
Chris ….”How can this be? I’ve not even been with a man. “
Kathy….”Yeah. And so what did Gabriel say in verse 37”
Chris….”He said, with God, nothing is impossible.”
“And you know this is coming from an Archangel of God. So, you know, this is an important message. “
Kathy. ..”And you know, she said, Okay, so be it ! If it is, I believe. And nine months later, she brought forth a child wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger. And we all know that the world has embraced that baby that grew up and died for all of us. That baby was Jesus Christ. “

Chris….”You know, that was a double miracle. Not only did she bear a baby without knowing a man, but the baby was completely and totally God and totally human. “

Kathy…”Wow, impossible for sure. And you know, today in our devotions, we were talking about this, and you looked up a word that defined hope. “
Chris….”Well, Hebrews 11 says that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and it’s the evidence of things unseen. “
Kathy…”What is that word hope mean in Greek? “
Chris…”It’s not like you cross your fingers and maybe it’ll happen and you reach for something in the sky. I don’t know. Hope in Greek is an expectation. “
Kathy….”It’s a strong belief, strong to the point that it said, it’s confidence, moving forward with trust, trusting God. I believe and expect God to do the impossible, not only in this season, but in 2026 across Western Europe. What are we believing God for? “
Chris…”We are asking God for 100,000 souls throughout Western Europe, across 12 countries,”
Kathy …”Yes, but that seems impossible. “
Chris….”Well, you know, any salvation of any soul is a miracle, because it takes the work of the Holy Spirit and the human heart. That’s why we have to pray for people. Don’t just tell them the scriptures, but pray for them. We need to share our testimony, our own story, with different people that we are trying to win for the Lord. And your testimony has more power than anything else that you might learn, family, friends, colleagues, the store clerk, anybody can be saved, but it’s the power of the Holy Spirit to do the impossible. “
Kathy ….” It’s not by might, it’s not by power, but it’s by His Spirit. “
Chris….”That’s how people are drawn to the Lord. It’s by the spirit of Lord, and your prayers will change a life. Maybe you’ll win one for the whole year, but we are expecting you to win at least four for the entire year. That might be in Portugal or France or Italy or Spain or Belgium, wherever you live. We can do it together, because we’re believing Luke 1 : 37
in all of our 12 countries, if everybody would win at least one soul, two souls, maybe one will win one. Others will win 10. But we’re believing that God can add 100,000 souls to his kingdom this year. You know you never, you never understand how important your testimony might be. But there’s a process and a trickle down, and it happens, I might win this one. And yet.
Kathy….”You might be so excited you will go out and win 10 you just don’t know, and you might win a soul, and that person will tell their friends, and they will win souls. You don’t always have to be the only one winning souls. The people that you bring to Christ can also bring souls in.”
Mary said to that angel,
this seems impossible, but okay, and the angel said nothing is impossible with Him. Kathy….That’s right during this holiday season, let’s not just get caught up in buying gifts. Let’s think about the gift of salvation for a friend or a family member and give into your prayer time. The impossible situation that someone is facing, maybe it’s health, maybe it’s financial, maybe it’s relational, or maybe they’re just lost without God, we’re going to pray for you right now, and we’re going to ask the Lord to touch your heart. Will you pray? “
Chris….”Sure.”
PRAYER:
Well, Lord, right now we come to you and we pray for every single person that is watching this video. Yes. And God, we thank you for every soul, God, if they don’t know you as their savior, we pray that this very moment that they could just say, Jesus, come into my heart, especially at Christmas time, come in and live within me, in my heart by faith and help me to walk according to your word. Forgive my sins and thank you that you already died at the cross so that my sins could be forgiven. …..And if you’re going through a situation that seems to be impossible, thank you God for the Word which says, all things are possible with God. We thank you for all of the scriptures, Lord, that we can base our life on and move forward in confidence with trust in the God of impossibilities. Thank you, Jesus.”
