16 Mar A Lifestyle of Worship
I can really imagine the moment when King David walked through the streets of Jerusalem, dancing, singing and worshiping the Almighty God; with a heart full of gratitude, that he overflowed with passion.
And of course !! If he carried the Ark of the Lord to his people, the presence of God itself.
2 Samuel 6: 5 David and all the people of Israel danced before the Lord with great enthusiasm and sang to the sound of harps, lyres, tambourines, sistro, and cymbals.
Now that same presence lives and flows in us by the power of his Holy Spirit; which should provoke in us an extraordinary and genuine praise and gratitude that comes from the depths of our being, towards our eternal Father.
Deep appreciation for the sacrifice of great love of Christ on the cross for us, being sinners He showed us his mercy and favor by giving us the greatest and most undeserved gift, the forgiveness of our sins being restored by his great love and living an eternity in Your presence.
And on this earth to be able to enjoy the beautiful presence of the Holy Spirit from him.
How not to be thankful, worship, dance, sing like David did; If the presence of God is here!
My heart’s desire is to be a passionate worshiper that reflects his love. And have a life of gratitude to my Father who has loved me so much, even before I was born.
John 4:23 and 24 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; because the Father also seeks such worshipers to be adored.
God is Spirit; and those who adore him, in spirit and truth it is necessary that they adore him.
It needs to be our lifestyle, worship in spirit and in truth.
The wonderful thing about when we dispose our spirit, soul and body to adore our Eternal Father, his Spirit and ours unite; causing a genuine joy that is born within our being by its power in us. No matter what difficult circumstances we are going through, if not the extreme happiness of living in his presence.
I love to worship God, He renews and affirms my spirit and being in his presence.
It is a great privilege to serve him and to extend his kingdom here on earth, doing his will; worship him in spirit and truth.
